Same here buddy. I was even't aware of ads as I had adblock installed. I got to know about it when I format & made a re-install of the os.

Could you guys use a little darker theme? I mean it strains the eyes sometimes of we browse in the darkness.

Not to mention, you could help save energy :p

Won't be going any darker. Nor I can upload themes. Sort out brightness/contrast on your monitor. :)
