You really want a phone?? I saw in one of your post that you said your dad cancelled HTC ONE X saying buy a laptop at that price...In my opinion too he is very correct ..you can have a excellent spec laptop at 35k
and and and u can get a good laptop at even 26-27k ..think about it that whether a mobile or a laptop will be more helpful to u ...
and then go for something

XE is a very good phone, don't listen to people who are saying it is not good, specially the beats earphones which come with it are amazing.It is far better than S2.And for 28k its a steal man as everywhere it is available for 31k+
And even Xperia S is a great phone.
S2 is inferior to both Xperia S and XE
But considering that One X is available at ngpay for 32.5k only, it is a very good deal and it is much-much better than XE and S2 and also Xperia S.

yeah mate.. i was promised an iPhone on selection in a good institute.. but the guy bringing it from us got his trip cancelled... so my dad told me to find a phone under 25k.. i saw the one x and was ecstatic..
but now i am confused between s2, xe and one x.. but buying one x over 30k is a problem..
love the design and earphones of the xe..
s2 is a great phone but is aging...

Have you seen the benchmark scores for the XE ? Seen its screen ? Mean no offense but there is no way the XE is better than Galaxy S2.

The screen is much worse than S2
768MB Ram vs 1GB ram
SoC is poorly optimized and thus performance is just average, even new 22k phones offer better performance.





And the beats audio is nothing but a gimmick. Audiophiles would laugh at anyone saying the beats earphones sound good. They are nothing special and in fact the earphones bundled with the Xperia P are better than the "beats" earphones.

The camera is poor. 8 megapixels but performance is similar to what you find in 15-18k 2012 phones with 5 mp.

And on top of these, the various software issues and bugs.

Source for screen is s**t ? Ok here compared to a decent 15k low-mid range Xperia U. Check out who has the better screen

GSMArena display review - The Sensation XE comes with a familiar 4.3” Gorilla glass protected S-LCD screen. It's the same unit we met in the first Sensation. Not the best display we've seen, with middling outdoor performance and disappointing viewing angles. Blacks are not as deep as AMOLED screens go, but brightness and color rendering are good.
Our traditional display brightness and contrast test confirm our observations. Deep blacks are not the Sensation XE's strength and while the brightness levels are OK, the contrast ratios aren’t that impressive.
Also PPI is only 256 ! Average for 2012.

Source for poor performance ? Check THIS It scores lower than a 1.2 ghz dual core sensation even though it has a 1.5 ghz dual core chip
Heck the same 15k Xperia U beats the hell out of the Sensation XE in all benchmarks LMAO!

You can get much better sounding earphones than beats for 1.5k dude ! And the beats software on the phone is just a bass boost nothing more. And apparently the newer batches don't come with the beats earphones anyway

Well I don't go on benchmarks, and the screen is not bad at all.
The camera is also good, not bad at all.
And the beats earphones are pretty good, have you tried it? I guess no.
You can find earphones like them even for 1.5k to 2k.
And there are also not that much issues that will bother anyone.
For more I think you should get hands on the device.

Well of course its the decision of the OP at the end of the day. Whether he wants to blow 28k on something that can't even compete with a 15k phone.

Have YOU tried the beats earphones ? I certainly have !.If you have, then I suggest you listen to the earphones bundled with Xperia P and compare both. And FYI the latest batch of Sensation XE don't come with beats earphones bundled.
And benchmarks don't mean anything ? They certainly do. The Xperia S has the same Cpu that Sensation XE has with 0 difference and yet the Xperia S scores way higher than Sensation XE on every benchmark with HD resolution compared to qHD of the Sensation XE.

4500 on Antutu vs 6500 is a HUGE difference.
So is 2200 on Quadrant vs 3200 on Quadrant.

When the Xperia S can score much higher than 15k Xperia U, and the XE can't with the very same CPU it only shows how badly optimized the phone is.

Oh I forgot that the new XE doesn't comes with the beats earphones,thanks for reminding me. So then I should say its really sad.
I didn't say the benchmarks don't mean anything, I said that I don't go on benchmarks, I personally use the phone and compare it with other phones and then decide.
And if someone is into rooting then XE will perform very good.
And also look wise Sensation XE is very good.
Xperia S quite a new phone and its the best phone by Sony right now, I know Xperia S is better than XE.
And I guess you have tried some OEM/fake beats earphones that is the reason you are saying so, because they are pretty good.

There is nothing NEW about the Xperia S SoC, its the same chipset as sensation XE. So you can't say its better because its new. That argument doesn't hold true. Also the AT&T Galaxy S2 also launched around the same time as the Sensation XE and also has same chipset as XE, performs almost as good as Xperia S. How ???

I thinks its in fact older than Sensation XE. Yup it came out in June 2011 !!

Also I didn't try no fake beats As I said, if you get a chance try the earphones bundled with Xperia P and compare them with the "super duper fantastic" beats earphones.

Well if not 3, should be in 4 or max 5 months. But anyway the value of your phone would go down considerably once Iphone 5 launches.

I mean 39k is a LOT of money! If I were you, I wouldn't pay that much for a phone that will become outdated in 3 months and be overshadowed by a new better phone.

I would either

1) Wait for Iphone 5 and buy that
2) Once Iphone 5 launches buy the IP4s @ a lower price
3) Buy a not so expensive Android for now and wait for IP5/ other H2 2012 flagships
