Re: Mobile Buying Guide

Just suggest me a samsung smartphone under 20k !!
Usage - Online gaming , Browsing , Instant messaging , etc etc.. !
Need - High battery backup , Good display , Need enough ram & processing speed with good support for almost all application & want to do multitasking , so phone shouldnt be neither heating upon that time nor lagged !!
Smart look , Updated Os , Good UI , Dont like dual sim so avoid duos !! Just like a phone Moto X :p

Get a LG Optimus G E970 from geb.ebay.in or wait for Moto X launch or G2 Mini launch.

Samsung galaxy S4 Mini.............
As dual SIM is not your priority, Xperia SP is a better choice

Many sites suggest Titanium S5 plus @10k is the best option today. Or checkout the Nokia X.

Re: Mobile Buyer's Guide

hey I need expert advice please
I wish to plan new mobile (android)
Requirements: smooth, good call quality, good video audio playback, good battery
Now I was considering to wait and buy moto X because of its positive review and some interesting features wrapped in almost stock android exp...
Why I have discarded nexus 5 is because or battery department
My question is that is moto x worth 24k knowing it contains not the latest hardware and might not receive future support?
Will moto G suffice me? And I could save 10k .?
Little confused but main thing is phone should last me good for 1 year or more without leaving complains
P.s. I am fine with 16gb fixed storage, don't store much of data but good battery call quality and latest android version and fluidity are priority
Thanks :)

Re: Mobile Buyer's Guide

Moto X has better performance & better camera + some software goodies + AMOLED

As you need a phone that should have all basic things like FullHD video playback, say, then Moto G should be enough..... For 24k,i think ZR is better due to quad core processor + water proof

Re: Mobile Buyer's Guide

I'm planning to buy Moto G but what makes me reluctant is that some people are complaining of poor voice quality during calls and a bad camera. My budget is max 15K. Also why is "Grand Quattro" considered to be a crap phone here?

the chipset is really weak, resolution is poor, ancient version of android, weak battery backup. if you want something other than Moto G, better wait. There been leaks of some new samsung phone coming soon. it'll have the same aged looks but maybe better internals. just don't expect HD display or waterproof.

Re: Mobile Buyer's Guide

@sam I have a question. I am searching for a good phone from about 6 months and now tired. Should I move to Samsung or should I wait for Gionee s5.5 ? Would it be better ?

Re: Mobile Buyer's Guide

The problem is I've lost my phone and cannot wait :\ Budget 15K

Either go for Moto G 16GB or Xperia L. Rest everything is powered by Mediatek chipset which in short means no OS update. ever.

Just an opinion, better to go for a moderately slim mobile than world's slimmest mobile. You'll have less heating issue, easy to grip, more durable in general. But as above, powered by Mediatek means you'll have to rely on Gionee for update (doubt they'll even update their mobile) or the half baked custom roms from XDA. If you are going Samsung route, better get S4. Already retailing for 27k at amazon. Also check Moto X but its a good 2k more than expected.
