Ans: 1 lack 20 thousand (can't extend)

Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win7 64 bit ultimate

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500 GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor?
Ans: Yes, 26" LED..
(need cheapest possible please, but need quality too)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy ?
Ans: Speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: As soon as I get good configs. in my budget. (within 10 days)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before?
Ans:No

10. Where do you live?Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

My budget for Keyboard is 1000 max, is there any similar to Logitech Gaming keyboard G110 in 1000 rs. ? (any company)

PS.

-> I want to buy Nvidia Quadro Graphic card. Please don't suggest ATI 7970 or else. Quadro only.

-> 16 GB RAM, I want.

-> 24X DVD writer is ok.

^ Why numeric with such a high end config? Also,does he really need a water cooled cpu cooler like H80. he says he won't overclock(as of now). so a hyper 212 evo should be more than good enough. that would save him 4k.

why a gaming mouse+kb combo? and why the gtx 670 when he said he wants a quadro series workstation card?

And btw,really really expensive cabinet.

Sainatarajan, your post is simply full of errors and it will simply mislead OP. Try to analyze the requirements of the OP first and then suggest, rather than suggest whatever fits in Op's buddget without checking if it is gonna satisfy OP's need.

You've suggested him 4.5K Gaming Mouse + Keyboard where Op never mentioned that gaming is his concern.
Suggested him GTX 670 without understanding the fact that 600 series offers 20% less performance in computing compared to the older 500 series.
Also suggested him a 18K cabinet without suggesting him better processor + Motherboard.

But the thing is AMD 7000 series also offers better Computing and rendering capability + good gaming potential.

1.2 lakh PC for 3D programs and Rendering, i suggest you to go for a Decent IPS panel Monitor from Dell/Asus.

All the other monitors from Dell, BenQ or Samsung rock too. Alienware is highly overpriced in India.

cilus suggestion is good but for rendering, an ips monitor is better

Talking about alienware, there was some alienware monitor I saw for 8k.
I think the model was alienware optx aw2210. I think I erad its a TN panel though.Anyone in the forum has that one?

@martin.stallone: Check with Ankit infotech or Golcha IT in SP road for the best Prices. If you stay near Indranagar then Binary world is also a good option.

But before buying, try getting the price details for most of the components. Whoever gives you the best price, stick to them.

Now for the config, here goes the suggestions.

The Alienware which was sold for 8k was purchased for 15k & i was the owner. I've sold it to MEGAMIND.

For monitor, I have Asus PA238Q and its damn good value for it's price! Dell Ultrasharp series are great as well.

^^ Wow that's a great deal then. That monitor has one of the best reviews and recommended for professional artists as well.

I got Asus PA238Q at 17150 though. Other Dell Ultrasharp monitors lack HDMI port which I need for my Xbox 360.

I am trying to save as much as possible.

MotherBoard I've chosen "ASUS P8Z77-V PRO" in 16000 INR.
I have one motherBoard in my mind that is "Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3R" costs 9500 INR.
Should I go for this one ?

How much time It can keep my system turned on after power cut ?
I want not more than half n hour.
(can I save some money in this? )

=> How this rig is different from a Workstation?
