Re: Suggest a Rig for 1,20K

Your suggestion for UPS is APC 1KVA..
How much time It can keep my system turned on after power cut ?
I want not more than half n hour.
(can I save some money in this? )

=> How many fans are there in this suggested rig ?

the UPS is only meant to regulate voltage fluctuations and provide backup until u can save ur work and switch off your computer or power up ur home ups, in case u have that. so expecting it to run ur rig until the power comes back, is probably not a good idea.

as for the case, the 400R has 3 fans, 2 (LED ones) in front and one at the back. but u can add a lot more of them (probably 10 in total) if u want to.

so will these 3 Fans come with case itself ? or I need to buy them?

how many fans does 500R has ?
What is the reputation of CoolerMaster HAF922 ??

MotherBoard I've chosen "ASUS P8Z77-V PRO" in 16000 INR.
I have one motherBoard in my mind that is "Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3R" costs 9500 INR.
Should I go for this one ?

Hey mate, I am also in the same field and I have assembled rig just a month back; you can find it details here -
New PC Build for 3D Creation & Rendering.

But if I have 120k budget then I WILL go for this one -

i7 3930k | 36570
ASUS P9X79 | 19213
Sub Total | 55783
Other Components u have selected | 75820
Grand Total | 131603

Although prices from flipkart; on the street you can find them with some discount.:Fingerx:

I know you can't extend your budget above 120k but...come on buddy it's not that huge increase, it's 11k more for almost 'Perfect Machine for 3D' .:2subs:

I have chosen i7 3930k b'cause it can increase performance up to 20 to 40% on multi-threaded application
(3D Max, Maya, Cinema4D etc.) above 2600k and 3770k's performance almost like 2600k.

Read few reviews for better understanding (at least just see Cinebench's & similar muti-threaded apps. benchmarks) -

You can change motherboard if you want with expert's advice.

And if you want save some money -
1] Opt. 8 GB RAM - I don't think you will need 16 GB when you have Quadro on-board
2] Opt. NZXT 210 Elite or Bitfinex Merc Alpha insted of Corsair 400R.
3] Opt. Noctua NH-D14 or Silver Arrow instead of H100.

Think about it !
Cheers !
