Give a mail to support and mail the CD / DVD back. They will give a free replacement.

So I can Install This Ubuntu,provided in Digit this month, to my SATA hard disk like a normal Linux. Is it?

Yes you have to bare the Charges for dispatch.

Linux can be installed in same way on SATA as it is on IDE. All latest distros work fine with SATA Disks

I don't think so there will be any problems for Vista.
It will install GRUB & will give you choice to select any one OS.

hey i too want to buy digit buy from a shopkeeper!! but i hav one thoght! eat if some of the dvds r not workin n if shopkeeper refuses to replace it then wat wil i hav to do??

n yeah r those dvds provided in a case or just in plastic/paper cover. is there any change of gettin corrupt dvd from the shopkeeper!!

Shopkeeper won't replace it.
But you email DIGIT team, they'll replace it,free of cost.
They did it twice to me.
