My work largely involves with photoshop. I heard that to obtain exact colour reproduction CRT monitor is absolutely necessary. Recently I am planning to purchase a TFT monitor. Does the current day TFT monitors faithfully reproduce colour? Which brand is the best in this category?

I have seen many compititions/shows that Gamers r using LCD monitors but here I have found that CRT monitors r better compared to LCD for gaming .
