Probable. But theres the warranty for that. Also, theres something called reputation which will get a severe blow.
But it was about time they lowered the prices. Manufacturing costs might have reduced as well.

Till I buy any next-gen; I have my PS2. But I hardly have any titles for it.

It will probably be the older SKU's.That is the only way by which they can get rid of the old stocks.It makes more sense to throw in these bundles & rope customers in.
