Re: Mobile Buying Guide: September 2012

A100 is discontinued by micromax. online or offline, everywhere it is out of stock. most likely a dual core version of A100 will appear.

7627A = MSM7227A + CDMA or some baseband. performance wise it is same.

yes, nice point. will add 3G next. AFAIK, Karbonn A5 is the only one you should consider unless you want to live with low ram.

my Choice is "Soxy xperia U" having processor ST-ericsson U8500 and Gpu Mali 400(singlecore)
bt it lack Sd card and m little confused as @sam stated having 4Gb internal bt in 91mobiles it states that 6gb n 4gb for user bt both are from user space point of view.
m gona ask that if it would be enough for installing apps n games? coz i like to experiment wilth apps so asking this silly question.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide: September 2012

4GB is available for free use i.e. it'll act like a memory card. 2GB as EXT partition, specially for apps and not available to use by the user. and 2GB is sufficient for most apps, except the EA games that weight at 500MB-1.5GB

Re: Mobile Buying Guide: September 2012

go for Xperia Mini. It already has received ICS and most likely won't receive JB update but have active community support. Other than those, Tipo is another choice but other than slightly bigger display and more internal memory is a letdown.

there was a post after the whole guide that point to 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd best option and a small explanation. But was removed as updating it was no easy task as i also have to check for pricecut in listed mobiles. lets see, i'll try to make something out of this.

Good work bro btw you should make a thread just like this about tablets

someone else made a tablet but was never updated. will try to make one in my free time.

If the rumor i.e galaxy s3 mini does come out it might be a hit.I feel the specs will be
3.7"
1000 or 760 mb ram
1 ghz proccy

Not that much downright since they also have Galaxy SII plus in the pipeline as well.. With the latter, they will effectively take on likes of Xperia S of android market..

hey sam i just wana low by budget now 4m 10k to 8k and i find there with decent specs
1)HTC xplorer for 8k do u think i should go for it and can i unofficially install ICS on it as i read some where that installing Custom rom or so and so is a bit difficult on HTC cellphones
2)Samsung Galaxy Y bt specs are too low, but at 6300 we cant ask for more
3)Samsung Galaxy Pocket is decent bt same as above at 6300
4)Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite gwd vfm at that price of 6700
it will be used by female hands so i dont know wht to go for i think they hardly use any apps or games(my case ha) so plz suggest 4m above r suggest a gwd phone. (no domestic rec plz)
