What do you mean by Internal SD? Phone storage?

Yes. My phone storage is 16gig of which 1.97 is for app data, media and cache as internal storage and another 11.49 gig as internal storage which again contains apps photo videos and downloads. And separate external SD card partition.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

So, if one move apps to SD card, it should really go to SD card right?
You said it will goes to internal storage.. What's the use of app then..

PS: Am not using Android. So i don't know how these SD_Card_app_move works..

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

When u move apps to SD card, it goes to ur internal SD not external sd. Correct me of I'm wrong.

Correct. On Gingerbread though, didn't need to think twice about internal or external SD as you put the card into the external card slot so the internal SD has nothing to do with it.

Come Jellybean and that is history. They shouldn't have really messed up the file structure. The reason why its taking me so long to buy the Xperia M. Seriously, around 1.5 GB of internal memory ?

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

Huawei Ascend P1 has an update to Android 4.1 Jellybean with Emotion UI 1.5, and there is an update in the pipeline to version 4.2.
Also there is quite a big base of people working on custom roms for the phone.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

Saw a lot of "Samsung Google Nexus ",motorola and htc phones at ebay being imported. Seals broken . Seller Warranty ,what's that ?.

Is it safe to get one of those imported ones? here's an example
Samsung Google Nexus GT-I9250 - 16 GB - Black Smartphone . | eBay

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

^Seller warranty = no warranty from company, just from shopkeeper/seller, which most of the times turns out to be a bad experience as sellers don't adhere to it as they promise.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

My friend is buying a new phone, after using Samsung Galaxy Y for 1.5 yrs.
But doesn't want to spend much.

After a lot of research, we have decided to go for Huewei Ascend P1 around ~12.5k. Any suggestions if this a good decision? (He dont want to for MM or XOLO, owing to its ASS).

Xolo phones are great. My mom got one and dealer provides the ASS. And he's pretty close by.

But if you still Dont want a Xolo, get an Xperia M.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

So, Huewei Ascend P1 not a good phone?
Since specs wise, Ascend P1 is better than Xperia M, in less price.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

Processor: 1 GHz in Xperia M and 1.5 GHz in Ascend P1. Both Dual Core.
Graphics: Ardeno 305 in XPeria M and Power VRSGX540. So a little inferior graphics in Ascend.

But in terms of screen (AMOLED in in Ascend P1), screen size, resolution, Camera, front camera, HD video recording (1080p in Ascend P1!) I think Ascend is winner. (Also low price).

So leaving Xperia M, is there some other decent choice?

Re: Mobile Buying Guide

The very first posts have Sam's personal recommendations. 10-15k Xperia M, Xolo Play,Lumia 620.
Yea, I saw that. Well, I would leave the decision to my friend then. Sony XPeria M or Huewei Ascend P1.
Thanks for the discussion.
