Plz help me select a good psu among the three.

1. FSP SAGAII 500W
2. Corsair CX 400W
3. Tagan StoneRock 500W

I will be adding a HD 6850 later. So which will be a better choice. If possible i would like to go with the cheapest one as i am really low on budget.
What are the warranty of these three PSUs.

My max budget is 2.5k-2.8k

Plz suggest asap. Its really urgent.

Tagan stonerock is a very good psu, it will be my pick from the three you mentioned, but tacens supero 600w is also a good psu if you increase your budget.

Thanks Cilus.
Jassy, i think i had mentioned my specs in my prev. Post.
BTW posting the full specs:
* Intel i5-2400
* Asus P8H67M-EVO
* WDC Blue 500GB
* Corsair 4GB DDR3
* HP DVD-RW
*PSU-????
* Zebronics Aviator with 4*120mm LED fans
* DELL IN2020M 20'' HD LED Monitor
* Creative A35 Speakers
* MS KB combo

* GPU - not added. Will add a 6850 later.
But i may also add more 2HDDs in the future and a BlueRay Drive too.
So, the PSU must have atleast 4*SATA Connectors and should also be sufficient for handling a Radeon 6850 easily.

So, the cheapest the better for me.

I think cx-400 will not be sufficient. So i am more baised towards sagaii 500w and stone rock 500w.

even after creating so many threads u are unable to decide upon?? *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/search.php?do=finduser&u=107487&starteronly=1

cx400 is as good as fsp saga II 500w. cx400 has longer cables. cx400 is a slightly stripped down vx450. cx400 is underrated. i consider it a 450w unit.

tagan stonerock 500w is better than both but it will cost 3k.

as far as cx430 is concerned...consider it a 370w unit. it is overrated.

also cheapest the better attitude doesnt work.

really,
i am very much confused as these PSUs are not available in BBSR so i have to order them online.
So, before that i need to know the best option for me.

Not possible.
Its above my budget. I really cant exceed further.
I just have 5k left.
2.4k will be used for 4GB Corsair DDR3 RAM and the rest 2.6k with another 0.2k-0.3k will be used for PSU.
I think sagaii 500W will be sufficient. Or should i go for StoneRock 500w.

You may end up having a lot of troubles and hardware failure because you don't want to spend another 500-700 on your PSU.

The PSU is a really really important part of your setup, you should buy only as much hardware as you can afford to feed with a good enough PSU.

With a Corsair VX450 you will be fine, hopefully even with a 6870.

However, otherwise forget about adding anything more than a 5670 to your rig!

You've spent so much on the rig but cannot afford to spend a a grand more to but THE MOST vital part of the computer. This mentality is why GPU RMA percentage is high in India the main reason why sme sellers/distri's are sceptically when giving a card for replacement.
And people wonder why their *assembled* computers give them headaches. If you cannot spend enough for a decent PSU (VX450), then you should get a 5770 instead.
Remember, a PC is only as good as its user.

But FSP SAGAII 500W and Tagan StoneRock 500W can easily handle a Radeon 6850.
Then what's the problem..???

ico,
yes u r right i can't even order online.
But let me see if vickybat and cilus can help me...

Any particular reason for not considering tacens supero 600w, it is a modular psu with oem fsp epsilon

@ Sunny : I think Tacen supero 600w is 3.5k & overshoots his budget a much.

@ Saswat :
Ask cilus, if he can get you a FSP or Stonerock from Kolkata.

if you can get tacens supero 600w, then it would be the best deal for you
otherwise FSP saga II 500W ain't bad for your setup

tagan stonerock 600 my recommendation

^^ it may be a overkill for current setup, but it is ultimate for next upgradations like 5670 CF..

As OP is quite interested in HD6850 & later you need CF then 700w is bare minimum.

@Piyush - Have some mercy for that cat...
