This book is pretty good for organic chemistry. I remember I was able to synthesize any chemical starting from anything. It's that much good.
Organic Chemistry 8131704815: Book: Robert Thornton Morrison (9788131704813) | Flipkart.com
It starts from basics and gets to the real deal.
from the past few days, i was getting this (weird) feeling, i really don't know the cause of which, to revisit the subjects taught to us back in schooldays. those days we generally treated them more-or-less as hurdles to be cleared to progress ahead, and whatever time was spent in contemplating on the wonders of a topic we used to go through at a certain point in time, was quickly fizzled out upon realising the onset of (yet) another stupid exam.
but since past some days, i had this recurring feeling to take a stock of my memory and shake the dust off from it, and go through any old topic with a new vigour and interest quite unlike what's entailed with competitive studies (i have a strong aversion to studying JUST for competition sake). this feeling i had/have was/is more prominent for chemistry, and *organic chemistry* in particular. reading your post here suddenly out-of-the-blue now (akin kekule's famous dream
) made my hopes stronger, and the feedback on flipkart page seem to suggest almost exactly what i want, and this has made me excited enough to go ahead and seal this deal! thank you very much!
