@ nipun - congrats! enjoy! i would suggest you to get (either readymade or custom-made) wooden/MDF board stand/stool with thin legs or spikes and place the subwoofer on it to get an even more taut & sharp bass response.

@ d6bmg - you could try 'more' shopping mall as well. they usually stock the F&D speakers, generally with 'discounted' prices.

yes the same megastore.
and you're correct! they now-a-days are selling intex 2.0 floorstanders (since quite sometime. if they actually are selling them or not is doubtful, but they have kept them on display with some pomp). but at my place they have a more or less dedicated section for F&D speakers. what's more, till a few months back it seemed that the very same section was experiencing some kind of a festive fervour, such was the excitement in there :D

Sadly, either no such shopping mall exists at Kolkata or I don't have any knowledge about any newly constructed mall.

MCC stands for mitsubishi chemical corp, they make good dvds.


Now, writex dvds are weird, I had seen them with TTH02 codes recently, if the code is correct(and not falsified) then writex dvds will be on par with verbatims, but I don't trust the writex brand at all.
