How much octroi they charge? Me also live in Pune & thinking about ordering few things from SMC & PrimeABGB. I have no idea how the octroi calculation works! Do they charge for big, heavy things only [like cabinet, monitor, UPS etc] or for every little thing [like RAM, graphic card, mobo etc] ??

Rs. 436 on total package of Rs. 16,250.

I mailed SMC and got reply that charging Octroi is a matter of luck and at times when the total cost is less than 10k then you wont be charged any.

I don't know the criteria for charging Octroi.

Just have a talk with the seller before finalizing your purchase.

APC 1.1KvA for Rs.4.9k (incl of all taxes) from STech computers, Pune.
Also inquired about the NZXT Phantom cabinet. He called up primeABGB...lol and told that only red and black colors are available. It will take some 1-2 months for white models to restock. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this one :D

Well guys, got my XFX HD 6870. The card is seductive and just by touching it you can understand how much raw power the beast has.
Price is 14.9K + VAT. Will post some pics soon.
Also got another Seagate 2 TB Internal @ 4.7K + Tax

The only reason I bought XFX because no other brands are available right now in Kolkata. And the 2nd thing is for 6870, AMD is not allowing custom PCB design. So basically you have to follow AMD design specs to deliver an HD 6870. As a result chance for using poor design or bad components are little less here.

My HD 5770 was a faulty one. So after a dangerous fighting with Rashi Peripherals, I got credit note of 8.3K. So used that money to purchase the new one.
