HTC One X Plus !! Should I go for it ?

Hmm. But I am not interested in benchmarks. Those will not affect real life performance by large margin any way. It's just specs war. If ur work is getting done by core i5 then why go for i7 !!!

I am liking thi one x + since I saw it's pics & videos. Just wanted you guys suggestions to make sure. :)

One X+ by all means is an awesome phone. I myself have been using one x for over 11 months now and haven't faced a single issue. It runs all the current games decently well and one x+ would be better at that as its gpu and cpu are both over clocked. It feels way way way better than the S3 and shows much less wear and tear marks than it. And one thing that people are forgetting here is that one x+'s screen is truly amazing. Better than any other 720p panel out there. So, if your main agenda is not gaming then you'll be very satisfied by it, but, if playing graphic intensive games is high up on your priority list then consider the SP because of its good gpu.

Thanks for the reply. No I dnt want to play games as they are difficult to play on touch screen. I was stuck on one mission of GTA VC on my GS3, That mission was damn easy on pc that I dnt even remember it attempting more than 2 or 3 times on pc. but on phone It's very difficult. LoL
Ya I will be gaming a littile like angry birds, temple run & same like games but not high end. Only High end game that I would like to play is NFS shift. I loved it on GS3. :)

I don't think you would have a problem running shift. Most wanted runs decently on my one x and it would be better on the + and shift is much older so there won't be any issues with that. And all casual games run perfectly.

not a dealbreaker. One X+ beats SP in display, camera, internal memory whereas SP has better processor. If you are not a power user who want every last bit of performance from his mobile, get One X+.

but there was one big flaw in One X (most likely affecting X+ too) that when you minimize an app for a long time it gets autoclosed. i at times minimize opera mini for 7-8hrs and in the morning i can simply open the app (webpage was saved in memory when minimized) continue reading the article i left off at night. same for games.

That was ram optimization issues in the earlier software versions. And that used to happen if you opened more than 3 simultaneously. I don't seem to notice it at all now.

I must say that you seem really set on the One X+. So I don't think anyone can influence you enough to take it out of your mind. ;)

But I'd still say that when you've sold a Galaxy S3 you should upgrade to something that's genuinely better than S3 and not one that is on par in most and worse in few areas.

So consider Lg Optimus G/HTC One or Butterfly/Galaxy S4/Xperia Z/ZL and upcoming Lg Optimus G PRO

Xperia zl is easliy available for 31k and anytime beats onex+....
plus there have been rumours going around that both onex and onex+ will not get klp update.they will be done with 4.2.

I faced same issues with gs3 also. so no prob with that. only thing I am concern is hox + heating issues now !! Any thoughts on that ??

I saw zl also but for 34k on local shop, I dnt knw from where u guys getting these prices.

Except LG G rest are out of my budget. Also I bought GS3 second hand & used for 2 months only.

A couple of days back, Xperia Z was available for around 34.8k on shopclues.
Check local market and try to bargain as much as you can, you will be able to get for 34.5k

nope. they dnt reduce prices. zl for 35k & z for 38k. Plz dnt misguide people.

He's not misguiding. ZL is available for 31k and Z for 34k in local market.

Ask kapilove77 he bought his ZL for 31k two weeks back

Local market is NOT croma reliance digital and other big stores who just loot the customers. :twisted:
