Sometime it's okay RiGOD, afterall we are flexible a little.

@OP : If the problem still persists & you've run out of all options take it to a local hardware service centre buddy. They might have a spare motherboard with the help of which the cause of the issue can be finalised.

I have sold the old parts..

Pentium D @ 3 Ghz
Intel motherboard DG965 RY
3 GB DDR2 RAM

All at 3250 rupees.... Is it a good price ...

Got to know the problem was with bad capacitors on motherboard...

U could have fetch more
DDR2 Ram price alone is 2000rs!

^^ Pentium D & that board won't fetch even 1k. so 2k is from ram only.
