As long as the thread poster as mentioned that someone has actually bought an item it will be easy to close. However I'm not sure how easy it will be to close all the ancient threads.

This can be done in two ways :
1. Add in the rules section that the seller must notify the mods/admin the trade when the trade finishes and must request the mod/admin to close down the thread.
2. You guys will have to go through the threads and check those thread manually.

PS: I will prefer the previous one.

For the forum development i mentioned some points to Byte, you can discuss those with him. I feel those points are something to ponder about.

Technically, I believe that's what we do or have I misunderstood? We usually give out a warning unless the poster has done something hideously wrong ? Personally I'm not a fan of the banner hammer since I believe we all have made mistakes every now and then .

Mistakes are done by human and human standalone can rectify them, but these doesn't mean that we should forgive each and every one. Instead of warning and Banning, you can try warning->Suspending (for xx days) -> life suspension.

Now the trade section really looks good. And yes you can also sub-divide the trade section in to two sub-division, one for sellers and the other for those who wishes to buy.

Yes and we value the sentiment which is why we try to satisfy any kind of feedback which are within our Modus Operandi. But here you are asking us to go through 52 pages of threads with a average of 30 threads per page and manually close them. That's 1560 threads we are going to have to close, confirm from each buyer/seller if there purchase is done. I don't see any mass close / unapproval scripts for use so I don't see this happening.

Coming to the rest , well that's easy We simply don't have the powers to do the above mentioned so we will let the Admins know if they haven't seen your request already.

Hello there gcbeldar. Make sure you check this page out first and see if you have exhausted all the methods of contacting ThinkDigit's Customer Service first. Also you could possibly send a message to one of Admins like Anorion or Raaabo and see if they can get the issue sorted out for you.

thats cool mate, actually i personally don't support that . kalpik did the right thing by adding it to the bazaar rules.

You see it is totally unfair for the forum, buyers get their products, seller gets their cash and they leave from the scene. It is the responsibility of the members who starts the thread to make it closed to avoid spammers or archaeologist who delight themselves in digging up age old prehistoric threads.

Just use the Report button and age old threads will get closed or taken care of.

ROFL. Someone made an epic boo boo. For now install Stylish, Greasemonkey or use one of the methods I have listed before and it should be ok . I'm on Amitava's Kirsch script and everything seems OK.

Download the 2.69 version with the quick fix for the problem here (select the 2.9 ver and install)

Auto update will take time, as the addon will take time to get approved.
Header with AD is still visible , working on it .

Users will get weird errors even with this updated version, Currently in office and very busy , hopefully will work on it in night.
