Yeah. As like Storage. I was just thinking about Storage as specific to HDD / SSD. And we can have RAM as different. May be if you feel so. Otherwise now RAM's goes into Hardware QnA. RAM and Storage doesn't seem same.

@Raaabo How about a thread under feedback section, relating to any complaints/greviance about the TDF forum. Like about how the forum is being administered.
I feel this is important to see the mods do not mis-use their power or get too bossy or nosy in the things going on in the forum. It may also be used to complaint about a particular user. It will reduce the number of ot's and un-necessary aruguments going on in the threads.
Even if the thread is not used as much, still it will be good to keep users or mods in check; since there is a place where their actions will be noted.

I don't support a like or +1 button. The rep system, for whatever short time it existed caused menace and members would write 'rep me if you find it useful' etc

I got it, but Like/+1 feature is not linked with the rating system of an user. But liking a comment is linked one and only with the post, not to the user. Getting my view?
^Well even likes can be used to gain so called "popularity" as it also can be counted and boasted. But everything can be hidden. No need to display how many likes one has got overall. It will surely decrease users' appetite for asking likes. If they can't show it, why will they ask on first hand ?
I hope haters get my point.
PS: There are numerous instances when we agree with someone's view and want to support it. And liking it is the best option against quoting it by replying "I agree".
PPS: Everything has got a pro and a con. you can't rule out anything by just stating that it has this and that con. If this was the case, "money" (the root cause of everything) would never have existed in this world. "Give me moooaar money" Oh yeah!
