2.8" is a bit too small to enjoy full Android experience. and internal specs are same as Galaxy Y which cost same or maybe less.

2X? it cost ~23.5k. also H/W wise it is good but still stuck in Froyo.

about the latter 3, used almost all of them. Fit: crap. Pop: more crap (Y is better). and S60 is getting way too old. seriously avoid S60 until & unless you need best battery life. for Android, choose LG Optimus One if you want a overall good mobile.

Hi, i need a phone in the budget of 8-10k. I travel 2+2 hours daily to get to and come back from work. The specs should be something like this:

1. Good size screen
2. Divx or Xvid support
3.Pdf support
4. Whatsapp should work on it
5. Email
6. Memory expansion upto a min of 32gb
7. Android not a priority
8. Decent cam with flash. Front cam not a priority.
9. Good battery backup(that must rule out most sub 10k droids)

point 8 not a priority, it'll be Optimus One. but if flash is a must, consider Nokia E5 but you'll loose out on a lot of the features.

okay, there is a slight change in plans. I've just realized that i have my old Sony PSP lying unused! I'll be using that for watching videos while travelling. So, now i need a phone under 10k with a good camera with flash and which is good for browsing. A GPS would be great. Thanks

11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? SE XPERIA MINI / MINI PRO,

LG, does it have a good build quality, and can we trust the online sellers for quality??
also what is the coupon thing, they say we get discounts if we have a code, how do we get them from??
i know very very less abt online shopping as this is my very first online shopping, and i dont want it to go hay-wire, i submerged my last phone in water, so i need a new one by third week of november..\

Where can you find defy for 13k? the lowest online price for defy is 14k on infibeam which is out of stock. For 13k defy is the best set.

Watching videos and TV,Browsing Internet. Should have a good resolution minimum 320x480. Gaming not important. May be casual angry birds if at all
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? Nokia 500, LG Optimus ONE, LG Optimus NET ,HTC Explorer
12. Any other info that you want to share: Bro is not into tweaking and modding, so need best and stable out of box experience.
I had almost made my mind for LG Optimus One/NET but read that only modding will bring about a good experience. So back to square one:???:

I am also in same dilemma finally ordered P500 from letsbuy,waiting for phone.

If you don't care about android, then go for Nokia 500. Great features at the price.

Else, (since you're not into modding and stuff) get a optimus net. Or a galaxy y. The former is a bit costlier, but has a 3mp camera as opposed to 2mp on galaxy y.

All these phones have 3g, wifi, so you're covered.
