WDC 500gb or seagate 500gb

Hey guys my bro is just going to by a 500gb hdd from smcinternational in an hour, tell me which one will be a better buy wdc or seagate, in regard with performance. I have heard some issues with seagate 7200.11 hdd, so that's why confused. And tell me the exact price there.

No, dnt get seagate 7200.11 drives. They have some issues. I dont remember it clearly though.
So, get a WDC Blue 500GB instead. Else if seagate 7200.12 500GB is available then u can surely go for it.

Yup I knew seagate 7200.11 have some firmware issues so my bro bought a wdc blue 500gb @ rs1750.

You don't get 7200.11 rpm unless someone has old stocks .

Pick up 7200.12rpm Seagate drives. Avoid green edition WD drives.
