Today i am going to lamington to purchase psu and 2.1 speakers for my current rig.

intel dual core e2140
gigabyte g41 board
transcend 1gb ddr2
gt 240 ddr5 gfx card
seagate 250gb hdd
i ball psu 400w

My budget is 2k for both and looking for vfm psu and 2.1 speakers
let me know asap
i am planning to buy it today..

i am getting Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 350W for Rs1500 and logitech z103 @ 750rs

can this psu handle gt 240 at load and will both be a good buy...

please reply quickly

^^Completely agree with you. Its a no go for eXtreme Series from CM!!and I doubt Saga II 350W will be enough to power GT240 but I may be wrong about this...

The Gigabyte Superb 460W is basically a re-branded FSP SAGA II 400W PSU and very good at this budget. It can easily handle your rig.
But the new one is available @ 2.2K and at 1.8K you can get a new FSP SAGA II 400W PSU. So I think you should go for a new FSP SAGA II 400W.

As everyone suggesting here, & it has already been suggested in various threads, DO NOT go for coolermaster extreme series PSUs.

but with gigabyte psu warranty remaining is 2years and 7months..
and fsp comes with 2year warranty [correct me if i am wrong]

now i am confused which one to go for..
deal is almost done for giga psu, i will make payment tomorrow and he will shipped the product...

please quickly suggest something

get a quality PSU now like FSP 400W/Gigabyte 460W etc...as it is the important addition to your system
and you can buy speakers anytime without any hitch
