On topic, I don't think creating a community on any SNS for a forum like TDF makes sense. You can discuss anything you want right here. If you want to stay in touch with forum members outside of TDF, exchange your FB/G+/Twitter IDs.

TDF itself is kinda SNS

Hangouts is a great tool IMO. I don't think the main community is gonna be very active. But I think hangouts is good for chats and atuff.

The Hangout was really fun initially with everyone participating. Like just about everything it has also become faded & there's hardly any talk in the Hangout.
