You already have a Defy!!! Wait a few more months man... get the next gen chipsets. In case ur not happy with performance, root it and use custom ROMs. There is a massive performance to Defy after modding.
Seriously, dont settle for the entry level dual cores. At least SGS Advanced should be the minimum u should be looking at. I would even say target the SGS II and above models :p

or all ,
i currently using Motorola defy and i have very heavy usage of web browsing i don't play game so don't need better GPU. i basically want more ram + big screen i also want good camera that's why i choose xperia arc s but now i feel that + 20k is not worth for upgrading to defy to xperia arc

i think about first galaxy r then O 2X . because i m waiting for my salary but now both disconnected / overpriced :-(

Even I suggest you to target some good phone(you can wait for sometime) like Samsung Note(if you are comfortable with its size),its an awesome device and apart from that you can also have a look at HTC Sensation XE

See technology keeps on updating.
So get the best one available right now.But search for the right deal too for that you can wait a lil bit
Even if you buy a phone in April after 1-2 months there will be some better phones available and may the price of your phone has decreased by few thousand bucks.
So I suggest you not to think that way.
But yes get one when you get a good deal whether it is now or after sometime like I go my Incredible S when it is was just launched and was available for 28-29k but I got it for 22800 ;)
So I suggest you to keep and searching and get one when you get a good deal.

I got it from Letsbuy, that time there was a coupon of 15% whose cap limit was limit for just 1 or 2 days, that time I ordered it.
Check out Sulekha every other day, their price are quite less when compared to other websites and you can even check out ebay if you can find a good deal

Dual cores are an overkill actually but the newer chips are more efficient and also OS seems more fluid on dual-cores. I am not sure if any apps are yet optimised.

Forget whats on paper. In practise, I have found SGS2 users to be pretty happy with their phone's performance. Similarly priced (at that time it was 32k) the Arc was considerably slow.

Today when dual cores have crept down to ~20k I suggest you get that especially for the AMOLED + more efficient Dual Core combo which might in a small way compensate for the battery hungry Android OS.

Also few more points about the Arc. It's very light and gets very hot on usage, has a dedicated camera button and an Exmor R sensor which is pretty good but not as good as the CarlZeiss optics (senson?) used in the Nokia.

iphone camera is cr*p!
