Get the config that has been suggested above .... Are you planning to get a new monitor sometime in the future??

Pls be clear abt which components you dont want to buy. In other thread you have already bought a DVD drive But you didnt mention it here.

I guess nope. I am satisfied with my current monitor. That DVD writer is for other old rig so not mentioned here.

Ok lets see this ..

i5 3550 - rs 11,500 - -- >> Any I7 ??

Asus b75 mobo - rs 4000 - which one ?? there are so many versions of this mobo on their site.

Corsair/g-skill value select ram 4x2 gb - rs 3400 -- I dnt want 8 gig. 4 gig is enough. Also vengeance series.

Corsair cxv2 430w - rs 2600

Saphhire hd 7750 1gb - rs 6700

Corsair 400r cabinet - rs 4500 - What about CM K380 - rs 3100 on snapdeal with COD.

Harddrive = 1 TB WD Cavier Blue.

Hmm So it will cost approx 34 k. with HD 7750. Good rig IMO.

One final query plz ans this time. in above rig add an i7 !!

Seasonic S12 520W @ 3.5K - on flipkart it's for 4.5 k
Rs. 2525.1 for ram on fk.

From where r u quoting the prices ??

Also NZXT Gamma is not available on fk & snapdeal. plz provide any link. COD is must.

2600k is the model number of Sandy bridge i7 processor. I think you are referring to Corsair CX430V2 (2.6k INR PSU not 2600k PSU). You are member of Toms Hardware?? I highly doubt that.

I am member of toms. take that with pinch of salt. :p

True, but demanding an i7 in a 30k rig and preferring Intel just because you haven't ever used AMD and saying you've been a Tom's hardware member since '08 id really difficult to absorbe.

hmmm fair enough. but that's other topic. Fanboys war. m an intel fan & a strong fan. long story. at that time AMD was really not the thing. when Intel launched "Conroe" C2D in July 2006 they just literally kicked AMD out of market with mind blowing benchmarks.

also it's like samsung or sony or nokia type thing.

The prices are being quoted from local shops and most of the prices are from Mdcomputers.

At that time Intel Might be ruling , But now AMD is ruling . For Gaming and rendering AMD is the best now. And I dont know why you want to go with an i7 when you can get an AMD Proc + Mobo within the price of Intels i7 3770 ...

Best high-end gaming processors : April 2013

they r not even recommending any AMD cpu in that range.. So Intel still rules mate.
AMD still in the market just because of their pricing. not because of performance. AMD still don't have any answer for the beast 1st/2nd/3rd gen i7's in their stables. I am not even mentioning Extreme edition here.

Intel definitely performs better than AMD IF and ONLY IF you use a Same GFX card. If you go with an AMD one you get a better card than with the Intels ...

Amd hasn't been able to catch up intel since then. :) But games are seriously gonna get multicore oriented with the launch of next-gen consoles. Its a long debate, but i would like to suggest you amd fx 8320 along with a 970 motherboard.

Reasons are various. It has 8 integer cores , runs at a high clock speed and has enough grunt to feed any gpu with game data. Future titles will use more than 4 cores, so its a wise choice.
Besides, the platform also has an upgradable path coz it will support upcoming steamroller cpu's from AMD.

Intel's current socket (1155) won't support haswell cpu's which are launching in june. So your upgrade path is cut off. I would say get the 8320 for less than 10k and get a good gpu like a 7850 2gb.
I know its overkill for your monitor now, but will prove as a wise decision in the long run. Would have advised 650-ti boost, but they are not currently available in India.
