Hello All,
I want to build a new rig, Your guidance is highly appreciated. :)

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming at moderate settings as having dell lcd already 1366 x 768 native.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 40 k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Nope

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7/8 32/64 (doesn't matter)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1 TB (7200 RPM)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: NO. Having a Dell 18.5 " LCD - 1366 x 768 Native resolution.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I ONLY want a CPU (Processor, MOBO, Ram, PSU , Cabitet etc..)

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: In Next 15-20 Days.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I will Assemble It.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Nashik. Locally preferred. (Can buy online if part not available locally)

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Intel only. Also I7 Preferred. Cooler master cabinet only plz.

> Why Intel only?

> Why CM cabinet only? the best cabinets below 6k are either BitFenix, Corsair or NZXT.

Gigabyte B75M DH3 (4000)
Corsair Value Select 1600 MHz 4 GB (1900)

Asus HD7790 (11000)

I trust Intel since begining. Never used AMD. Also I am member of toms hardware since 2008. But they always suggest from newegg or amzon which is not possible here.
CM K380 is in my mind.
I7 Plz , dont need keyboard/mouse. Also can u suggest any Asus mobo ???
I guess for my monitor 7790 will be overkill. 7750 is ok.

toms hardware since 2008 relevant - Yup as they suggest parts that are really good config but most of times not available in my city. (So asking here)

Did you trusted Intel when you were just born? - Ouuch that's rude. But saw friends AMD rig (955 BE) & found my old Q8300 was much better in that aspect. (He also said the same.) Also Using Intel since 2005.

& I7 cause I want it to be future proof. I can extend budget.

Do u really think that a 2600k PSU is needed ?? Can I go for normal 500 Watt PSU ??

+1 to harshil's config.

dude take the i5 3570k over i7 as they perform same. in gpu get gtx 650ti or hd 7790 ,both is good for your resolution.

please no to local psu,get cxv2 430w

@RohanM : adding a measly 5K to your budget won't help you get WD Velociraptor 1TB which costs 16000 INR.Better get WD Caviar Blue 1TB.Best VFM for your budget

2600k is the model number of Sandy bridge i7 processor. I think you are referring to Corsair CX430V2 (2.6k INR PSU not 2600k PSU). You are member of Toms Hardware?? I highly doubt that.
