Purchased a Canon A3200 14.1 MP digicam from Flipkart @ 8725/-. Package includes a 4gb SDHC card, a 8gb SDHC card and Carry pouch. Its the blue color. Sorry no pics of the cam, nor much subject around to snap and post, but tested the 5x zoom and here's the results:-

Congrats nightmare...

@nginx

Why bother about the GS series if you can opt for higher ones? And with a budget of 1 lac, you can easily go for HX or AX series as Mario suggested. So just get the TX750 if that's what you want.

I know the budget is quite big but I am having to buy too many high grade components which is making even a 105k budget look small. I mean I have to cut cost somewhere right? Or else I would end up spending 1.5 lacs :D

Trust me, for an 100k budget get a tx850, since you are going to get a formal job in less than a year from now, you may upgrade then, a good psu lasts years and do not lose relevance, heck hx620s are really old but hold great value.

Will definitely consider it. I have already given a lot of time and thought behind deciding the wattage of the PSU taking into consideration future upgrades. According to calculations, a 750W PSU can even handle GTX 570 SLI. Do I really need more power than that? I seriously doubt it. One thing's for sure, I am not going to SLI GTX 590 anytime soon, if ever.

@nginx: that was one review. I had posted 2 more reviews elsewhere.They found no issues with some of the cons in that review.

Either it was defective peice or faulty reading.

Damn! So hard to trust reviews these days.

@Skud and nginx

Thanks guys

You're welcome :)

If you are planning for 570 SLI, then you can easily accommodate a HX850 within your budget.

Ok guys, I got your point. I will definitely go for the 850TX if budget permits. I think the 850TX costs 1.5k-2k more than the 750TX. If I have extra money left over after buying everything, then it becomes an option. I also have to keep in mind about the 5% VAT. That will easily amount to an extra 5k.

850 is barely enough for 580 SLI.(no OC headroom)

750v2 can possibly power it,but it is borderline with little room for OCing.

Get 850W for 570 SLI and 950-100W for 580 SLI.

the 750 is a great model so it can handle it,but i would always avoid peaking the power draw.

@mystic: you said your 960 is at 4.15Ghz,how are you cooling it?

For 580 sli the tx950 fits the bill, 570 sli can be powered by tx750 IMO.

I think you guys are going way overboard with your wattage requirements. 950W? You kidding me? A 950W PSU can even run the 590 in SLI.

Nearly every forum I have visited says 850W is more than enough for 580 SLI and you might even get away with overclocking although I don't see why you would want to overclock two 580s in SLI when you won't go below 100fps in any game out there with these cards.

I will probably settle for the GTX 560 now which will probably use no more than 400-450W even at peak loads and end up wasting money behind a 850W PSU :D

Build an SLI PC - Certified SLI-Ready Power Supplies

look here.Nvidia doesnt recommend any PSU below 900W for 2 580s.Not even TX 850.

Also, I run 2 580s unlike you.i have a UPS that can measure wall draw and on peak usage (metro 2033), the wall draw crosses 950W,which means I cross 800W System draw due to 90% efficiency.
I said the 580s can be run on 850W but thats barely enough.

A pair of 590s might run on 950W but then the PSU will die a quick death.

You should never skimp on wattage.Never run borderline PSU.

750W PSU will run 2x 470 but 570 has higher draw hence you should get 800W.but TX line has 750 ,then 850W so I recommend TX 850.Otherwise a Cooler master Silent Pro (non-gold) 800W is good.
