^^ Maybe because they are not good value for money at all. Yes you do get performance increase but cost is too much for that. Ain't it ??

yeah exactly....its not worth it...i can probably add a 60 gb one in a few months if i go with z68 chipsets otherwise i am better off without it......

corporate latptops that use encrypted disks, greatly benefit from SSDs btw.
given that the disk are bottleneck in any computer, get ssds, now or later. even for that extra ++

i haven't purchased them yet...i am waiting for BDs....hope they are available in India soon....i think digital planet near s.g highway is the only place you might get high-end stuff...so are building a rig too???

I got My Stuff from Silverline Infocom in Satalite...They Have the Best Price and are the Biggest dealer here..

Get a multi-monitor setup.
creating such a hog of a rig to play on a single monitor??
Why not combine 3 1080p monitors, your budget can easily permit that
jump into to the awesomeness of the Eyefinity

Gtx 580 trisli will be even more powerful when paired with i7 2600k. Tried and tested.

But there's absolutely no point to spend so much on current gpu's cause amd 7 series is almost near. Nvidia will also release its kepler gpu's.

So its a much better idea to wait considering such a good budget OP has.

Yeah.. Who knows HD 7990 will be twice as powerful as HD6990 and come at same price point :)

Also considering w/e data is out for BD it will be performing atleast at par with i7 if not better so it will surely kick some prices down as well. Just a couple of months wait.
