requent nose blocks, seldom am I able to breath comfortably through the right. The last thing I want to loose now is my hearing sense.

Dude, first of all, get out from the front of your computer and go see a doc. Google and the internet can help a long way, but it's absolutely nonsense to ask people what they think of it when the first thing you should do is visit an ENT!

The net is not the answer to everything! Go see a doctor!

I know that our dependence on the net is growing so much that we tend to search for everything on the net assuming that there is an answer and a solution. While help is available for almost anything from how to click on start to how to stab someone, we all just need to realize that we are getting so much out of touch with life that we don't even bother doing things they way they are supposed to be done and end up being so dependent searching for answers to all our problems on the net! This is not just for you Metalhead, but almost for everyone who spends more than 6hrs a day on the net which includes me too :D

@Metalhead, stop waiting for answers from this thread and go see an ENT as almost all your problems are caused due to a "Deviated Nasal Septum"

Nice :)

And yeah, Metalboy, let us know whatever happened to them ears....
I think it *might* have been due to an earphone fault, since only in my Walkman Earphones did I have that issue. In Philips SBC9630 its not there.

But at the same time, there still IS a noticable difference between the hearing levels of my two ears when I concentrate deeply. I am mostly going to get a checkup this Sunday. :|

Gautham for improving your eye vision eat loads of carrots and veggies, it really helps(My friend who used glasses always now uses glasses only for reading),
I think eating carrots only prevents problems with the eyes and don't cure them, i.e. eating carrots after having problem with your eyesight won't really help. It could only stop it from getting worse.

ENT----------ask him to clean both ears, and you'll realise what you've been missing when listenign to music, believe me.

You should have a hearing test first
That would determine if you are losing haring abilities or not. Then go clean your ears. That could be a problem!

@metalheadgautham
Thank god u went to a specialist
but as per the symptoms u gave i think its hardened wax in your ears
i dont know exactly but i faced the same issue u r facing now about a year ago
a day before my final exams...
it gradually led to a ringing sound in the ear followed by pain
had to go to a specialist immediately who removed it impromptu

Today is the day! SUNDAY!!
Did you go yet?
I am going on an ear wax removal therapy for one week. if there is still no improvement, I need to report to the doc.
Lol! Seems everyone except him wants him to go see a doc!
Maybe because I care a bit for my privacy ? I am trying to post updates, but I don't want to keep commenting because it can only make me feel more bad than I already feel. :(

gautam u may be facing otitis media-so better do an conductive ear test--better give me your medical history or pm me--
time since ,do you ever feel pain ,any discharge-if yes scanty or profuse--offensive or non offensive. and if you are lazy enough take a dose of antibiotics - i would suggest ampicillin or gentamicin or any 3 rd gen cephalosporin

and do your ear toilet

i would give my ent exam on 21st-wish me luck
