After reading I am really confused what should I buy.

1 TB or 500gb? WD or Seagate? Balck or green?
Desparately I need a Hdd because my 500gm seagate almost full.
Which is more relaible 1 tb or 500gb and which brand?

Now I am using 4 HDD. 10.2, 80, 160 and 500gb. 10.2 gb is 10 years old and 80gb is 5 years old. none of them fail till now.

I want to buy something which I can use for another 10 years without fail.

So 1 TB is more stable than 500gb?

Jas - I got Seagate 1TB 7200.12 as primary HDD.In Win7 Experience Index Primary HDD has a sub-score of 5.9.
Is it good or bad?
