bad idea, stick with your current board and get an E5300 for Rs2k odd, then get a HD 5670 512MB for Rs5600 odd, you will need a new PSU too, your system is probably 4 years old ?

I have a PC with the following configuration -
Intel Core2Duo E4400(800 Mhz)
4 GB DDR2 RAM(333 Mhz)
1 PCIeX16 slot
Os - Windows 7RC
I want to buy a 1GB Graphic card under Rs 3500 for my PC and have chosen MSI R4650 D1G, please give your suggestions.

I have a 350W PSU, and yes I don't want a graphic card with additional 6-pin power connect nor do I want to upgrade any other part as the performance of my PC is very good

Get a Palit Radeon HD 4650 512 MB Super @ 3.4k, if you want to buy a new one. And also get a generic 500-600W PSu @ 0.5k.
Don't go for 1 GB cards as the lower end cards available at your budget, simply does not have the Horse Power to use that much of memory. Another reason it these cards use slower and low performance high capacity memory just for marketing Gimmick. A smaller size but faster memory will perform better.

hmm... that's exactly what I wanted to know as I didn't wanted to buy a graphic card which wouldn't perform at it's best because of the low FSB of my PC (333MHz.RAM).
Thanks, I will see if I can get a palit in my locality.

^^ 9500GT 512Mb DDR2 is close to HD4650 512Mb in performance. also Sparkle 9500GT 512Mb costs around 2.5k which is a very good price for entry level card. but as its discontinued now (so are the HD4*** series) so you may need search hard.
