Copy Paste in FireFox

I have been using Firefox for quite a long time but this problem, i am facing just now. When i try to copy the url in firefox browser it wont get copied easily instantly. After highlighting and pressing ctrl+c for many times only it gets copied and i can post.

It wors fine with other browser i have; chrome,IE 10. What can be the reason? I have uninstalled and installed again but still the same problem.Even the browser is up to date.

Also while alt+s while posting worked like charm on Chrome but seems a issue in FF

alt + s is a shortcut to history menu in FF

report bug to firefox.. prolly will be fixed in an update..

and the solution will be there in FF forums

That works only in Chrome.

You can file a bug report to FireFox. Alternatively right click , select "Copy Link Location".
Now the link address gets copied to clipboard.
You can paste (Ctrl + V) it to whichever application.
