Yes, you can just check if your writer supports dual writer, If you have purchased recently or in last 2-4 years then it does IMO.

Dual Layer Moserbaer cost around 50-70 bucks... Here still it is very costly comparing to Dvd.. So use that only if you can not divide data in 2 DVd's like Movie Disc or games..If you can then better use Dvd which will be more VFM..

i buy in 'em in jhansi for just 20rs although they are not of any branded company and support up to 2.4x speed.....

Almost all the ODD bought 2-3 years back supports dual layer DVD burning, the usually sells for 20-25 bucks :)

Navneet, if you can read Dual layer DVD's nicely(eg- Digit DVD's) you can burn them on your own too :)

this is dual layer only..... the company is not branded so your dvd capacity might end on writing 8gb only.....

You get national branded dvd's (supposed to be mfg by moserbaer) from dvdstoredelhi for around 890 bucks shipped which is cheaper than 20 bucks few months back it was 500 for 50 , i still have that stash remaining :).
