antivirus confusion.

i am using avast for few years with little viruses

As per my experinence Avast is lot better than Norton in terms of virus detection and system load

I use avast and AVG for the last 5 months and no virus ( if any , rarely) goes undetected till now.

Used Norton first: Res. Hog. Very Few Viruses.
Used Avast then: Light. Many Viruses.
Using Zone Alarm: A bit heavy but no viruses.

avast is much better than norton. norton is a system hog.

i dont know about kaspersky but i am in LAN in my college with virus attacks at 10MBps!!!!. i get almost 20 attacks per day ( thanx to some smart ppl with no antivirus) and thanks to avast i am protected till date.
