A smartphone around 10k??

Hello guys. Once again one of my frinds needs a cellphone. Too many friends you see?...


Anyways.

Budget is around 10 k...
Smartphone is preferred.

Please do tell me if a phone slightly out of the budget is there, and it is damn good for the buck.

Some that I can remember are;
Nokia 5320 => I dont know the price.
Nokia 6120 Classic => I dont know the price.
Samsung i450w => I dont know the price.
Samsung i550/i550w => I dont know the price again.
MotoRokr E6

if u wanna touchscreen then go for htc p3400i @ 9.3k with 1gb card

@krazzy ... 5320 is a nice and powerful phone but doesnt have document viewer acc. to GSM-Arena. Also screen is a bit small for the QVGA resolution.

@bassam ... E71 is too expensive for the budget. I think only E51 comes close (Are you talking about the camera one?

So... It ultimately depends on preference..

Symbian: Nokia 5320
WiMo: HTC P3400 (did anyone say P3400i? GSMArena dint have anything about that.. )

What I wanna know is; as a PDA which one works better?? I guess WiMo, isnt it?
So for PDA work(Documents, Internet, PIM) P3400 should be better than Nokia 5320 IMO.
But considering Music/Calling/Ease of Use; Nokia 5320 is better isnt it?

5320 has a document reader built-in. It can read all sorts of document files and pdf.

^^ The GSM-Arena Specifications don't say if it has a Document Viewer or not.
But the Review at their site tells us that the cellphone can read .doc, .xls and .pdf...
Now incidentally my friend will need to view slides, .ppt compliance.. His classes are given out as .ppt files which he wants to keep on hic cellphone.

Anyways, this one is an XpressMusic so I should not expect much document-ish feautures from it.

How about 6120 Classic? Similar to this phone except for RAM and Feature Pack 2.

And guys, tell me the price of 5320... Ive been asking this for ages..

^^5320 has Symbian... so u can install anything on it and view anything u want.

^^ should be less than that coz i purchased it at 11.2k two months back. really good phone if u can extend ur budget.

arey i read ur post where u said u shouldnt expect "much document-ish features".. thats why i said it has symbian and it doesnt matter that its branded xpressmusic, u can install any app on it.

well, if you ain't looking for touch screen, then nokia might suit you, although i have never used one till now.
if touch screen then htc p3400.
you can install huge number of apps in it.
be sure to mod it first though, the biggest advantage been this site

modding is easy, "next,next, finish", can't get any simpler than that.
since i haven't used my cell without modding , i can't say it was slow before.
but,be warned, if looking for camera, stay away from htc, pics are just o.k, thats all.
since am not phone cam freak, i never bothered.
all the document things and others can be easily handled by htc. thanks once again to

I want a Windows Mobile Device at within 15k myself. I was thinking of P3400 and its a definite VFM. But Its 9.3k and I can spend considerably More.
HTC would be a good manufacturer, isnt it guys? I want to do good deal of modding stuff with it. So I guess HTC has a good tem of xda dewvelopers behind its back.
