Where are you getting a Wildfire for 10.5k??local retailer??'cause Univercell quotes it at 12.1k!!

But if you are strictly under a budget of 10.5k then forget both those phones & go for O1!!

My relative wants to buy an Android based phone within Rs.10k. Which one to go for?

Samsung Galaxy 551 – Rs. 9200
Sony Ericsson W8 – Rs.10000
LG Optimus One P500 – Rs. 10300
Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 – Rs.10500
SE Xperia Mini Pro – Rs.11700

I have told him to get the LG but dealers in Mumbai are not recommending that to him. So more confusion.

Also are the prices mentioned above correct?

Since your budget is 10k you should blindly go for LG O1 & don't give a damn about what the dealers say...after all they are trying to make profits as well...

now the chart looks good. O1 can be had for 9k. start bargaining.

& get 551 only if your relative is ready to sacrifice battery life for hardware keyboard.

Yeah man, aware of the fact. But just
Google up for all the HYPE of iPHONE5, as Apple may strategies to overtake android with low cost iphone5 to masses.
Afterall, till the release date we can just wish for the dream come tru to own an iPHONE

low cost for iphone will be 25-30k, not 15k. and most likely there isn't a mini version of Iphone5. though apple may add another mobile to compete with midrange Androids (or Windows Phone 7, or whatever) in 2012-13 as iphone6 mini.

but as rumor comes before news, and there is no rumor of 2 iphones this year. we should have just a single apple mobile.

AVOID @ all cost. instead go for Optimus One @ same price.

OR, Samsung Galaxy Pop if he wants a full touch Android mobile. or, Dell XCD35.
