I dont think you will find it any cheaper than that. Not aware of too many codes and good deals

With Android, you'll need to charge almost daily. A full charge lasts for a day with heavy use like gaming, browsing, videos, etc. Nokia will offer around 2 days backup but its your decision.

PS: Nokia's H/W is way better than most (or should i say any) sub 15k Android mobile.

So, is it better to go with Nokia ( 500 or 603 )??? Is these phones are good as smartphone???

If you could leave features of Android for a battery life, Nokia is good. Else Android is really the one to get

1) Samsung Ace plus
2) Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman
3) Motorola Defy +

Avoid Nokia 500.

Live with walkamn is a good phone which will cost you around 13.5k.
I didn't like the Defy+ and have also read a couple of bad reviews,so won't suggest you that.
I haven't got my hands on Ace plus so can't say anything about it

Please suggest me the best sony erricsson phone available under 12K. This for one my friend and she wants an android.. she doesnt like the styling of Samsung fones. She dint like HTC explorer either. For instance she checked SE website and she likked the styling of HTC Explorer - Full phone specifications

So if you have anything in Samsung (with SE like styling ) under 12K, please suggest.

Defy + is lot better overall in terms of features, 99% Android phones warrant you to charge phone everyday to full charge etc
So if you fine with that, get Defy+

there is BlackberryOS & BADA. Well, avoid both cause bada is crap and blackberry service cost extra.

if you can wait a bit then wait for the motorola's defy mini to release; its already out in China not in India though; check out its specs at gsm arena

about 1-2month more and we will have very good phone in 15k range....
its really a bad time to buy a mobile(or even a computer)... price cut is expected soon so wait till may starting is the first advice...

Thanks guys. Please note that camera is the major factor here. Do defy mini and explorer boast good cameras(considering the budget)? I cannot wait more than a week for the phone.

I was also looking at galaxy ace which has a 5MP camera. Is it better than explorer?

ace camera- photo quality better but video quality worse than explorer...
ace- 5mp pic & qvga video
explorer- 3mp pic & vga video

check SE Xperia Mini if you are ok with 3" screen. pics are sharp. haven't checked videos though.
