Will Galaxy Ace + n Ace 2 be available in this budget ?
What about motorola Defy ?

Ace2 will be lot higher than 10k. say 15k or so.

your next bet is Net Dual or maybe wait for Lumia 610 if it sells anything close to 12k. Else consider Ace if you find it for 11-12k (unlikely). Defy is discontinued and a finding it won't be any easy task.

Also in Android signal eats a lot of charge. So dual sim (if dual standby) then it mayn't last even 24hrs. go for one with biggest battery. Also show her HTC Explorer. Sense UI looks really nice (though bloatware for most).

Thak you for your suggestions. I showed her your suggestions.
She said like she cannot have charger with her all the time.. :) And said, She is fine with SINGLE SIM phones.

So if it is not a dual sim Android, which are the options availble ?

HTC Explorer has just 90MB internal space right ?
LG optimus NET looks better in terms of specs. Is the same in real also ?

Otherwise the specs are good. Any other SINGE SIM phone suggestions ?

Bro, under this rangeHTC Explorer is not a bad option Either..

OR

LG Optimus Net P690, Single Sim

Both Can be gud options

If you want QWERTY, Go for Galaxy Pro or Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos B5512

   :-D

K. Thanks..

One more doubt. Is it wise to consider other OSes instead of just sticking to android ?

Phones like Nokia 500 are far more better on paper than these Droids ryt ?

Should i consider them ?

HTC Explorer, LG Optimus Net/Dual. The LG mobile comes with bigger battery so "may" provide more backup but can't say if it'll be better than Explorer.

also someone said about 90Mb internal memory so copy-pasted it in the guide. a few guys here brought Explorer and i asked them about internal memory but nobody cared to reply.

K. Thanks..

other OS = BlackBerry, BADA & Symbian. BADA is way too basic and extreme lack of apps. lacks even some basic apps. Blackberry, well only a single mobile is there at 10k.

Symbian is there but Nokia 500 doesn't have any kind of GPU making the mobile a potential failure. read the GSMArena comments. everyone say one thing: mobile hangs & restarts randomly. not to mention its Symbian is crippled to run on the graphics processor less hardware.

else check Nokia 603 (12k or higher) or wait for Nokia Lumia 610 (expected price is 12-13k).

@Sam:
Thank you..
Also will the 800(optimus net) vs 600 (HTC) processor speed makes any difference ?

Any LG optimus NET users here ?

Is it true that it doesnt support flash ?
If it doesnt support i can just blindly go for HTC Explorer. :)

Also I found a pretty good deal here

actually explorer 600mhz proccy is much better than 800mhz of optimus net due to its scorpion chipset...

net doesnt have official flash support but you can get arm11 flash player from xda....

i hope you got your answer :)

AFAIK, there is one Optimus Net user and another one using Optimus Net Dual. But seriously, Android is really power hungry and hence dual sim will cause more battery problem.

I don't understand why QWERTY phones have be predominantly neglected in this thread. Is there any problem with them?

Hi, Friends I am also searching a mobile in 13k budget. Previously I set my mind for android phone, but I heard everywhere that it is consuming too much power. So phone need to recharge too much.

Is there any alternative for android, which has good hardware and applications with more buttery backup. :-? :-? :-?

Xperia Mini Pro or HTC Chacha.

With Android, you'll need to charge almost daily. A full charge lasts for a day with heavy use like gaming, browsing, videos, etc. Nokia will offer around 2 days backup but its your decision.

PS: Nokia's H/W is way better than most (or should i say any) sub 15k Android mobile.

what is this "proccy" ?

I didnt understand
