msconfig

I'd like to know the commands and some of its descriptions, which we can use in Start>RUN. like msconfig, temp, etc etc.

Their was one virus entered in my PC called TrustIn & whenever i on my PC it start its window, afterwards i found it & delete it actually it was in startup I found it in msconfig Now the virus is no more but their is still entry of Virus in my msconfig I am using WinXP Pro Can any body tell me...

In my friend's computer whenever I tried to use the Msconfig utility from the run command it hangs and restart the computer. The computer configuration as I remember is 40 GB HDD with 128 MB DDR running on Windows XP professional. What could be the reason and the solution? Please help.

r there any softwares that stops the startup programs, so that my comp's stat up becomes fast. I know the msconfig method, but 1 time it crashed my comp (I had to format it)!!!! :(

Hello My Name is Rajesh verma I want to remove shortcuts from startup I am using window 2000 professional and i had also tried to remove this shortcut by msconfig. But an error is showing that cannot find the msconfig Please help me how can i do this. With Regards Rajesh

i hav windows xp with SP1 recently while trying the windows update page it displayed that i hav recently installed a program which requires a restart.but even after restarting it shows the same problem!!!!!!! :cry: i hav scanned for viruses and spyware but to no avail...

I cannot access ms config utility by typing msconfig in run menu neither can get system information by typing msinfo32. In first case error is ' file not found' though it is present in my system and in secon case help file opens. Can anyone help? :roll:

i cant aceess msconfig <neither do i can defragment using windows utility <it simly doesnt start>-----neither do i can access help and support from task bar menu<iyt says helpctr.exe doesnt exist> but can acees by first searching the file-- even when i click a shortcut in desktop there comes...
