One of my Logical Partitions is corrupt and I'm unable to access my 142+ GB of stuff. Please suggest some methods to avoid formatting / recover data after formatting.

What are the pros and cons of QUICK FORMAT and NORMAL FORMAT??? What is btter or good for the HDD?? Its always boring to sit looking at the formatting when you normally format a drive but quick format is lightning fast :D. What do you prefer and what is better??

Hi guys, I have a problem with my Canon A560 camera If I set the date and turn the camera off, when I turn the camera back on the date is reset to 00/00/06 (mm/dd/yy) I tried formatting and that didn't work. I set date stamp = OFF and it still puts in the time noted above in the pictures. Help!
