in that order. Samsung should really hire some people to design the phone. Even the elongated iPhone 5 looks better than the SGS4, especially considering it is just a stretched out iPhone 4.
I think the only phones worth buying now are the HTC One, Nexus 4 and the Xperia SP (the Z was too big for my taste)

IIRC, Xperia Z was priced at 59,999.00 at e-bay on pre-order. So its normal guys, same with all the phones.
BTW, I am more interested in th Samsung's Octa architecture. We all know that the A15's are a beast. But it was also said that the amount of heat it generates, it is not feasible to use it inside a phone.
Now that Samsung is using it in a mobile, it will be interesting to see the amount of heat it generates while gaming and the battery back up.
Also, switching of processors (A15 to A7) to be implemented properly, else it will create issues while running cpu intensive tasks.
While we are speculating about which flagship is better, we need to wait for these answers.
For now, Xperia Z wins, simple as that

Whatever it may be, S4 will sell more than both the phones mentioned above....may be even more than sales of both the phones combined and Samsung will get $$$ in their bank.
I'm having SGS2 and have no plans of buying a new phone. Next phone is definitely going to be a Nexus. Nothing else.

@random, the mobile phone technology is changing so fast. that you will be fooling yourself if you dont believe that the xperia z, the gs4, htc one are outdated.
yes the gs4 is outdated before the launch ( cry samsung fanboys )
looking at the current trends, the next nexus device / motorola phone x will pwn these phones like small babies.
The point is that this is a marathon, not a sprint... if the xperia Z gains more popularity and acceptance by devs, its bound to sell. as simple as that.
secondly, i dont think that apart from multiwindow reason .... anyone would like to carry a mini-notebook computer in their hand for talking.
sony has captured the samsung formula of the galaxy with the xperia... its not that revolutionary.. but at the same time, its more affordable and it has more dev options not to mention sony pushing devs
apart from that, even with the revolutionary technology the samsung phones come with, there is hardly anything the devs can exploit
like if the gs4 pauses if you turn your head the other way when you watch a video, you cant make the phone put the screen on standby? and then on again when you look at it.
