Hi,
Recently I shifted to ghaziabad and then I take BSNL Broadband connection. Now the problem start.
As soon as i connected to net so many viruses start coming every time and then suddenly my download/upload meter (DU Meter) is start showing Heavy Uploading.

Suddenly I check and I shocked, it was showing 1 GB Uploading in 15 min???

What is this. I didn't upload/download at that moment.

How to stop this. Is it possible to check who connected all of a sudden and what he upload??

Any software by using I can lock uploading?

Is it possible to see the file name if some one is uploading

I am using nortan antivirus 9.0 and hre BSNL will start BSNL icon using WAN Miniport using PPPOE

One of the virus file name is File: C:\WINDOWS\system32\gff6.exe

Get a reliable antivirus and do a full system scan.Even a free antivirus would serve the purpose if you regularly update it.

To quick heal this issue, download Malwarebytes antimalware and do a scan.

But is it possible to stop uploading 100% or see who and what files are going through my system. I am just attaching 2 files which shows 264 MB uploading in 5 min and 1 gb in 1 hr, even then i was not doing anything at that time (du meter data) . Who and what was uploaded, how to know that. I am more worried because i am using limited gb plan

I already install Malwarebytes and hitman pro.

BSNL is a ADSL connection. So the upload speeds should be considerably lesser compared to ur download speed. For uploading 265 MB in 5Min, it you should upload at 900KBytes per sec. Then the upload connection speed should be 7200Kbytes ps = 7Mbps. This is impossible.

What is your plan in BSNL ?

But is it possible to stop uploading 100%
install a firewall. Like Kerio . You willl be able to conttrol which processes are allowed to upload/download. This way you can stop any process from uploading

My only concern is my plan is home 500C (1.5 gb limit) and second thing is what data has been gone from my machine.

Hmm weird. Are you using WiFi? I mean it is possible the traffic is being bombed through the WLAN.

No, but ya my BSNL modem is a WiFi modem (nokia Siemens networks) . My plan is simple home 500C, and i am using lan cable and connection is saying connected through WAN Mini port PPPOE.

Give a hijackthis log here...
for the time being, download and install Spyware Terminator and enable H.I.P.S to advanced mode. It will show u everything accessing internet or a system process but it will become a headache when u will be installing a new program, so change it to Install mode at that time :)
