Hi guys,

I have finally successfully installed Windows Vista:cool:
I have installed it as a Dual Boot with Windows XP SP 2,as i have seen people mentioning in earlier posts i didnt experience any boot.ini corruption while configuring it as a dual config.

My System Configuration is:cool:

Pentium IV 3.2 Ghz
1 GB DDR RAM
320 GB Seagate HDD
XFX 6200 nVIDIA Graphics Card
Sony DVD Writer

The software which are properly supported in this build as of now

1.VLC Media Player 0.8.4a
2.Mozilla Firefox 1.5.04
3.Office 2007 Beta 2

They have been underlined because i have set the folders to look like web folders.Thats how i like them :cool:

can u show screenshots of the flip 3d ...feature and...hmmm..the aero glass theme !!
also has the boot screen been changed..or is it the still completely black screen??

The transparency of the windows looks awesome.Also the wallpapers look stunning too.I will try to add as many screenshots as i can tomorrow.

yaa..i have ilso installed window vista..n nw i also have dual booting wid xp/
yaa..glass wd be gr8.....I have just a trial version of 14 days..becoz my vista is nt registered.I have downloaded it using a toreent clint...n so my aero theme is also nt active.

can any one plzzzzzzz help me in getting...vista rc1

THE Working of vista being full or trial or even the working of aero does not depend on weather the vista has been bought from a torrent or microsoft site !!
if u activate windows vista with a genuine key (which is freely distributed my microsoft)...it will be a full version and there will be no 14 days limitation !!

also if u have a good gfx card with dx 9.0c comapatiability and pixel shader 2.0 u r vista aero feature will work..regardless its from torrent or MS Site....

no one can help u get RC 1.. cauz its released only MS connect ..and not to general public...so u will have to wait ..till its released in CPP(customer preview programe ) for public !!

It seems that everyone here loves the new GUI.But I don't like that hope someone will make a windows XP like theme for it.

I m still stuck, 8 hrs left, hope by tomorrow morning i will complete my download of Vista RC1, damn, i wish i had 2 mbps connection

thers a 4mbps personal pipeline in dads office.. but cant use to download vista..as there are some restricitons on the sites visited..due to some fortigate admin firewall..though my dad is the admin dsnt allow me th chng settings for security resons !!
so bad luck..dwnldin vista on a 128 Kbps..connection..tht too... 80- hrs left..so will finish in a weak.as i can dwnld only at night..as day time net usage restrictions by ISP..
anywayz frm where r u dwndin vista C 1 ? connect ?

hey ppl.... i am sorry...i think i was drunk in da middle of da nite when i typed...128 mbps lol lol (in my dreamzz ),....its actly 128 kbps connection !!sorry..QWERTY !!and thnks for pointing out...
