Its the Genre, not the game. Multiplayer means PC for me and PC means FPS for me.

I like racing games. I play a lot of multiplayer Formula1 with my brother. After racing strategy games like Age of Empires and Rise of Nations are my fav.

You forgot RPG's as well as MMORPGs/FPS's though the latter haven't caught on still.
