I got the 16 GB usb 2.0 version and im not happy with the 5-100 KB/s write speed for small files.

what speed do you generally expect for usb 2.0 ??
in my friends pc, a 700 mb movie takes 4~5 seconds to complete from pendrive to hdd (2.0 pendrive)
that in a e7500 proccy

If the speed is increased by any means, I am using Transcend USB 3.0. In my pc it takes 10 minutes to complete the 800 mb movie.

donno about time but even if u copy from an external hdd USB2 to hdd it transfers at a speed of 45-60 MBps ...soo I am not at all surprised

My Transcend V60 which I bought 3 years before have a read speed of 26MBps and write speed of 11 MBps ....if USB 3 just give double....its not enough to jump

I will wait for hi speed USB3 pendrive which can at least write at 70MBps
