Processor: Core i5 2400 - Rs 9,300
Motherboard: MSI H67MA-E35 - Rs 4,700
Memory (RAM): 4GB Corsair 1333 Mhz DDR3 - Rs 1,200
Graphics Card: Sapphire HD6850 - Rs 9,500 (or MSI Cyclone R6850 PE/OC if you can find it)
Power Supply: Corsair VX450W -Rs 3,500
Case: Nzxt Beta Evo Mid Tower or Cooler Master Elite 335 - ~Rs 2,200
Monitor: BenQ G2222HDL FULL HD LED - Rs 8,000
Hard Disk: Seagate 250/320GB - Rs 3,000
Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech G1 Gaming Desktop - Rs 1,400
CD/DVD RW Drive: LG DVD RW - Rs 900

Total - Rs 43,700

Try for the best deal and you can make the total go under Rs 43,000. :)

But if you change your mind and want to with AMD, as they have nice Performance/Price ratio in mid-range CPU's, you're welcome. :)

i5 2400 costs ~11000 now.intel H67 board is better.get corsair CX series or seasonic instead of corsair VX.250gb hard disk cost ~3700 now.

better get an AMD based config which will be more suitable for your budget.you can get an intel i5 based config but then you will be able to get only a low mid range graphics card.

whitestar_999, nice suggestion buddy; here is an AMD based config for the OP. Hopes he like it.

AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma (3.3 GHz, 2 MB L2, 6 MB L3, Turbo Core) @ 6.8K
ASUS M5A97 @ 6.6K
G-skill RipjawX 1600 MHz CL9 DDR3 4GB X 1 @ 1.6K
Seagate 250 GB SATA @ 3.6K
Palit NVIDIA Geforce GTX560 Ti 1GB @ 13.5K
BenQ G2220HDL 21.5" 1080P LED @ 7.6K
Nzxt Beta Evo Mid Tower @ 2.2K
LG 22X DVD R/W @ 0.9K

Total is around 43K

Another thing, the suggested processor is based on AMD Thuban design, same architecture powering the Phenom II X6 processors. So it has slightly better Thermal and power management over the Deneb based Phenom II X4 processors like 955 or 965. The best part is that there is a very high chance of unlocking the extra teo cores of it to make it a full fledged Phenom II X6 processor, namely 1605T.

Both are nearly the same, based on same H67 chipset.

Intel dh67cl has four RAM slots, whereas MSI's H67MA comes with just 2 RAM slots (Max 16 GB memory).
If you go with MSI, you get "OC Genie II" which is MSI's tool for easy overclocking. I'd say go with MSI.

In Rs 6,000-6,500 budget, you can get an Sapphire HD6770 1GB GDDR5.

That tool does not work really with H67/H61 chipset based boards because they don't support overclocking. So get the Intel DH67BL motherboard which has more connectivity options.

it seems like you have no idea about overclocking core i series.only core i K edition processors can be overclocked(2500K,2600K etc)& only P67/Z68 series mobo can be used to overclock these K processors.

Right off the assembly line
When comes to the software you need to use, you have to go for Multicore, wen it's gaming you have to look for clock speed, On this front

Intel wins, but AMD offers the cost to performance ratio, Since the USD have gone up, the prices of AMD processors also gone up.

Go for NVIDA Graphics, If you intend to use Video Editing / Conversion application, where as certain programs like Premiere and other tools uses the Nvida's CUDA engine for real time performance.

When comes to PSU go for Seasonic, In fact Seasonic and CWT's are the OEM for Corsair.

And you can assemble yourself, it ain't a big deal, there are many good resources available on youtube.

When comes to monitor, if you budget can extent, there is LG IPS (thought not true 8bit panel) for around 11k, but which will be much better than TN panels, with better viewing angles.

In case of PSU, buy CX500V2.

And what do you mean by

Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech - Rs 1,400

AFAIK, Logitech MK200 is priced @700/-
Are you talking about some other combo?

@ man2690

Buddy i would suggest you to stick with cilus's config. The config you think of getting has a powerful cpu but a weak gpu. 560-ti is a lot powerful than 6750.

So go with the 960T based config as you are getting a more balanced system. At fullhd resolution, 6750 cannot handle the games properly u mentioned but a 560-ti can do it.

Without any doubt this is the best gaming config available @~45K mark.
@Clius: Is there any chance of unlocking 960T?

How is Phenom II X6 1090T**BE*
and pls suggest suitable mobo for this processer..
which is better asus or gigabyte ??

or wil phenom II X4 960T zosma be enough for my needs ?

1090T is a very good processor at 9K price point but you should overclock it to 3.5/3.6 GHz range to fetch some extra gaming performance. But don't worry, Oceing AMD Black edition processors are real easy and you can do it with the stock cooler. For motherboard, get the same one I've suggested earlier. But I think 960T will just do fine for your need

D6bmg, chances of unlocking a 960T to a 6 core 1605T is very high, in fact over 90%. All the review sites were able to unlock their test sample of 960T.
