honestly guys i agree this time we all did go a little overboard with every section featuring our fights but thinkdigit would loose the fun a lot forums are very dull and boring .... problem - solution, something new - thank u, this forum is really fun and active .... i love this place coz its not dull and boring ...

and i wanted o say this earlier but i can assure u even the mac boys learned some new things about their OS X thanks to our criticism so at the end it benefited all of us

As Infra_Red_Dude mentioned, all those who involved in fights might have meant something while they post but the posts hurt many, or the posts didn't express what they really meant. Thats a fact.

Yes, all were fighting and al are still friends, but can't we fight in a better manner ?

Giving respect to each other, trying to stick to the topic as far as possible, doing constructive criticism, correcting people in a polite manner ? And finally never telling - Only one path is the right path.

i must say what imav said is correct. fights are interesting and they do liven up the ambiance but theres a limit. fights should be there but it should be relevant to the topic. only then its worth it. those const. crit. help us learn a lot about the new technology (lemme give an example: in the sorry state of oss thread, gx told me abt .net hardware optimistion. something which i din kno abt!). so lets try to keep our posts as close to the topic as possible and continue fighting! if somebody thinks things are deviating, then lets create a new thread and start the fight there! but plz do not overdo it. save this forum. dun let it become like others... thinkdigit has a dignity to maintain and this can only happen if everyone realises their responsibility.

plz keep words like iphone, linux, win, mac out of this thread. its a sincere request. do not post "proactive" words as mentioned!!! we never know what will happen and we do not want this to become another iphone news thread by arya and gx singing the same old story: iphone is useless and finally ending up bashing mac all over again. we've really had enough of this and i'm sure everyone here is sick of this!

Well Mehul is leaving soon. Soura is busy, & Andy despite of reading my posts didn't merged the threads.

We have no problem with other users. Stop bashing Windows & acknowledge the flaws Mac/linux has. If you bash on something then after getting clarification, understand it & don't again bash us calling us lier . Were we wrong when we said Mac has a cluttered UI or dock has no similar window grouping? Or Was I wrong when I said in that Ubuntu thread that Linux needs a standard codec base due to which just one engine (XINE OR gstreamer) installed handles everything.

Mac boys & Linux geeks were not wrong when they said XP was insecure, but saying Vista is insecure just cos XP is or DRM DRM DRM DRM DRM is indeed provoking. Either do some research first which I always tell Prakash & Arya to do which they never do.

Arya is a different story, he gives no respect to those who are not only wiser then him, but more experience in computer then him. He has no idea how computer work (he said Mac use EFI since 2001 ). Here is thing, on more then one occasion I have told him to learn a few things first. I am using Mac OS X since even before Andy bought his Mac Mini, & yes I do have a long time experience with Mac OS & Apple hardware, however when I tried telling this to arya, he called me a lier. Din you tell me, should I just stay mum & listen to all this non-sense about me?

Just take an example. Ilugd had a problem with his Mac Pro & his audio mixer device from M-Audio. I helped him in configuring as much as I could, but none of the Macboys came to that thread to help him with OS X. Arya, Nepcker has no idea how hardware & OS works, I have always told them to do some research & read first before writing anything here.

of corz not!! u were not wrong. u haf every rite to voice ur opinions. but dun make the mistake of making your views as the standard. u may like this feature, i may like this feature but some person x or y may not. i'm not saying u are wrong but if u put it in a provoking way then it is wrong. put it in a manner where it wud lead to constructive critisism. same thing applies to arya as well (tho i see less number of posts like this from him now and more "iphone" only posts).

we must understand this: unless a person respects and gives ears to the opponents' views in a debate, its as good as a choc pastry in a pig's sh!t! good for nothing!

dunno abt others but i find posts like these irritating and provoking. its none of ur business to decide whether mehul is fed up of the fights or not or whether he shud've participated in "at least one". dunno what mehul thinks but sorry imav, i label comments like these as immature.

i can point u to one guy who fits in this ideal forum user tag: vishal gupta!!! he's the registry expert and also an mvp. i've never seen him self-praise or boast abt himself. u can compare nemi's posts wid this guy's. has always posted useful ones and never gets into messy things ever. i admire this guy a lot!!!

hmmm... I am a relatively new member of the forum ....and generally i dnt like to participate in any war or personal bashing ....i am not much of a geek though ...so i have only a few posts to my credit as sometimes my limited knwledge comes in handy for sum ppl ...and also i like to vote for the things which i like (like AMD ) but i dnt think tht i will ever indulge in any kind of personal bashing here .....comon guys, Thinkdigit is a forum for tech ppls to help other Not-so-geek ones and share their GYAN to the N00BS(as u say it ), not to fight on stupid matters (MAC v WIN etc...........). dnt knw wat to say as u guys are far ahead in seniority and intellactuality and knw wat shld be done.

I have no problems with Discussions and little fights here and there.

What i do think where it went wrong - some users went personal and calling them idiot and stuff and criticizing other guy's language and English skills. Was it needed...Absolutely NOT! When did English came in between? Its like old Hindi Muhwara [SIZE=-1]Nach Na Jane Angan Tedha[/SIZE]..or whatever it was

Passing Personal Comments and using abusive language made the whole issue personal and ultimately everyone tried to find ways to pwn each other.
