printer under 5K

wish to buy Printer under 5K,

My top priority over here is easily available and cheap ink, and need with scanner.

I wish to print Ebooks so need affordable ink rates..

don't know much about printer, have not used at all so suggest me good one.

no brand preferred in particular but should be reliable and easily available cartridges to.

if u can fine HP laserjet P1007 that wud b the best deal for u.. it has gr8 VFM..
cartridge refilling also costs a little..

otherwise increase your budget to get Canon2900B or HP LaserJet 1020 which are pretty good..

For printing E-Books, its better to get a Laser Printer. The cost of printing will be less.

with printing just text and few images, will there be difference in quality between laser & inkjet

no not much bt inkjet will be lil ahead in terms of pic.. inkjet are much costlier too..
laser wud b only for b/w printing.. inkjet can be used for color prints..

I am looking forward for Epson TX121 with CIS .. I believe it will give me cheaper prints

will buy in couple of Days..
