It's a D7000 with Nikkor 50mm 1.8G lens. Basically a prime lens. I wish it had zoom in capabilities.

Yeah, Y500 is great for the price. Except that the touchpad is useless.

I was able to play BF3 with >35 fps at 1650x1050 resolution with almost everything at highest setting. Will post a screenshot. Will only be able to do full comparison later.

prime lenses are revered for the astounding quality they deliver. accurate positioning of lens elements etc..

Well, Amazon. I spent about $80 including shipping and import fees deposit. I think the purchase was worth it.

Too bad Viz and Darkhorse don't have an indian branches
