^^ urban india aint as cycle conscious at all, 2-3 years back when i expressed my intentions to buy a cycle, my colleagues loled and said - you don't have the age to ride a bicycle.

i don't know about other parts in india, but here at kolkata ppl don't seem to visualize the spectacle of corporate office goers riding bicycles for everyday commuting. :D

so, congrats on such great purchase, if there were cycle lanes available in urban areas, nature would sure be far less polluted and roads were very much traffic free.

its not really a cyclers friendly traffic here @ bangalore too but delhi is a totally different story having different lanes for cycles..........

Quoting images tend to disfigure the thread, that's why we advise not to do it, but it doesn't waste bandwidth, the image is loaded only once.

Epic purchase, I love cycles, the design is very similar to my Hero Ranger Max, but I remember buying it for 3k 12 yrs back, how times had changed :(

PS: Some say riding cycles for prolonged periods tend to squeeze some nerves and cause issues to your 'Potency'
Hence I ride it few hours a week, keeps me fit as far as my weight goes.

Micromax mmx400r mi-fi datacard
Very good. Connects my desktop through USB, laptop and phone wirelessly. Easy UI. Just missing USSD support. Bought it for 2.45K locally. Full paisa vasool as saved a money on multiple internet connection. Wi-Fi range is quite good, covers the whole campus of our home. 3G signal reception also nice. I get 20% signal at places where I get no 3G signal through my phone. is But I donot know how to use it in linux through USB. Can somebody guide me?

PHILIPS 1905 steam iron (1.2k applying discount coupon)- Shopclues.com

I read a negative review about shopclues.com in this forum before purchasing. I was thinking whether to purchase or not. But I took a chance. And now I want to give 5***** stars to it. Nice packaging, Cheapest on internet (after applying discount coupon), and very fast shipping. Received the product the 2nd day in Guwahati, which is considered as a remote location. It was shipped by priority overnight.

Got the Microsoft Desktop Wireless 800 Keyboard/Mouse Combo last week from Vedant for 1200+VAT. Total waste of money as I already had the Logitech MK220 wireless set and it turns out neither of them works with the RasPi.

I got the Trek 4300 for 30k in 2011. Used to cycle 20km everyday on it for 5 months. I went for the 3 week long Chadar Trek that year, so I had huge motivation to get fit as fast as possible or else I was doomed. I also took to all sorts of dumbbell exercises to complement cycling.

But after I returned from the trek, I simply lost the motivation to cycle anymore. I don't know about you or anyone else, but cycling everyday on the same patch of road without a goal or destination is not really an enticing proposition. Besides, I live on the outskirts of Kolkata where the roads are in horrible condition. Even the killer suspensions can't stop the cycle from vibrating like crazy when going at speed.

Anyway, one thing's for sure I will never give up cycling. I love it. I plan to resume cycling again if I can join a job this year.

Is that working good, how is the quality and how many days does it took to arrive at your home & is any shipping charge is there?

Yeah it's working fine. Nothing to complain about the quality except that the universal socket onboard won't fit Indian 3 pin plugs. The problem can be mitigated by just plugging in two pins and leaving the earth pin hanging by the side. Accuracy is great, especially when measuring low power gadgets. Other than Air Conditioners, its adequate for measuring power consumption of just about any electronic appliance in the house under 1400W.

Took about 25 days to arrive, no shipping charges.
