I agree that Gen 2 boards getting simple bios update to support Ivy bridge intel cpus can't provide true PCIe 3.0 bandwidth but those boards which have or are coming with Gen 3 readiness may be true PCIe 3.0 boards. So those who can wait for the release of Ivy & can hold off on buying a 7000 series card should wait :wink:
